holiday scrapbook ideas?

im doing a scrapbook for my latest holiday i have just been on (london paris ireland paris and singapore) but as i am a beginner scrapbooker i am a bit low on ideas! i want to make it as intresting as possible..so if anyone has any ideas that wuld be great! i would like to make it colourful and fun- because thats what my holiday was all about!
i really dont know where to start either- this is my first major scrapbooking assingment and i want to make it a good one so please help me! thanks alot in advance!

First, think of a theme. This could be using the same colors, stamps, or shapes throughout the book. Collect all of the memorabilia you have saved from the trip (tickets, flyers, pins, stamps, photos, etc.) Collect information about the locations from the computer (maps, logos of places visited, visitor’s bureau flyers). Arrange the pages chronologically. For each location, start with journaling, which includes some facts about that area and you’re favorite memories of that area. Then show pictures of what you did in that city (this is where you add memorabilia, maps, etc.) The last page could be an overview of your trip.

I have to make a five page scrapbook for English. I’m open to any ideas.

I love scrap booking and I took a course on it so I will help you.

First you need a whole lot of pictures. Write captions under the pictures. Go to get fancy background paper that kind of tells a story about the book. Make it really detailed not just by words, by decorative stuff! ♥

How do I make sure the paper is lined up in the Cricut for…?

I am trying to make invitations. I bought the "New Arrival" cartridge for my cricut. I plan to cut out the cards with the machine and use the new Cricut color markers to do the writing inside. How do I make sure the card is lined up correctly.

Has anyone done it before, who can share how they did it?

I know everything has to be lined up just right with these machines or you end up going of the paper.

Any help would be great.

I would cut some cheap paper in the same size of your invitations and run it through the machine and see where it prints. you need to make yourself a template or pattern that works and go from there with your invitations.

Dessert ideas?

A friend of mine and I are hosting a scrapbooking workshop. Considering the creativity of all those coming, I thought it might be fun to have some sort of "build your own dessert".
Sundaes won’t work well because the ingredients will be sitting out for some time.
Any other ideas?

decorating your own cookies with frosting and sprinkles would be fun, or doing the same with cupcakes. hope this helps

What books are good for scrapbooking beginners?

I’m new to scrapbooking and want to create a nice baby scrapbook. I already have an A3 book to fill but I want help with layouts, materials etc. A baby centered book is not necessary but if anyone could recommend a beginners book, and maybe a book that has some easy to follow ideas for layouts I would be very grateful

Scrapbooking can be intimidating when you are just starting out, but it doesn’t have to be. There are a few books that would be a great help to beginning scrapbookers.

A few of my favorites are "The Big Picture" by Stacy Julian, "Creative Sketches" by Becky Higgins, and "Scrapbook Page Maps" by Becky Fleck. They are not specific to baby scrapbooking and are wonderful for jumpstarting your scrapbook pages on any theme, because once you start you won’t want to stop!
